These phase includes these domestic practices that I continue to carry out: in addition to the routine of buying, frying, eating eggs and also involving the labor of washing, collecting, storing and safely accumulating their shells. Finding small corners in the small kitchens I have inhabited, preventing them from crumbling any further.
*Domestic practices have encompassed this approach by engaging with the eggs I eat. I'm engaged in finding suitable storage for my eggshells to prevent breakage, reflecting on past practices and determining how best to maintain them over time. This involves seeking a room or space that accommodates extended periods of work.
So I accumulated as many Eggshells as I could with the idea of collecting all of the eggshells of my breakfast until I could create a performance of eggshells- pathway to step on them one by one. To hear the crack. It does not include the eggs of other people, neither roommates, nor neighbours, only mine.
Background
* handcrafts practices I carried with me: Dialogue Body weaving braiding materials , knitting, writting with hands.
What about my personal approach?
Family stories......2020-2022
My artistic practices with objects or intallation elements such as collecting eggshells that I have eaten and clothes from the street in Germany in previous works, among others, have led me to find methods to adapt the works. As an observation of this, I can feel that some formats are very organic to the practice with materials, sculptures and installations. When it comes to a space such as the studios, or the scenic salon, it also involves negotiating with the conditions of the university spaces.
I asked myself how is it possible that using a lot of materials, and having the need to assemble in the space before, how can I adapt my handcraft work and domestic practices inside the studio, the stage setting.
